How do I sign up?
Basically, you have two easy options. You can either sign up online, or you can fill out an application and turn it in to us. To get an application you can either contact your campus rep, or you can download one from the "forms" section. Then, just fill it out and either turn it in to your campus rep or mail it to SWAT: 245 Fischer Ave. Suite D-2 Costa Mesa CA. 92626

When is payment due?
Check your application or call us at (714) 955-6900 for payment due dates.

What payments are accepted?
You can pay by check, money order, cashier's check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you choose to sign up online, you must pay by credit card.

What is the deal with the online sign up?
We have a secure server to process the online applications. We feel this method is fast, efficient, and easy. You don't need to turn in an application to anyone, you've instantly guaranteed your spot on the trip, and you are paid and ready to go with a little typing and a few clicks of the mouse.

Is it safe?
Yes. A ll online sign ups are processed through our Secure Server using 128bit encryption.

Does this take the place of my rep?
No. In fact we ask you who your rep is on the online application so that we can make sure that they contact you. Your rep will coordinate roommate lists and bus transportation, as well as answer questions you might have.

How do I find out who my rep is?
Their name may be on the brochures or posters that are up on your campus. If you do not know who your rep is, please email: info@swatup.com or call us at (714) 955-6900

How do I become a rep for SWAT?
To become a rep and earn free trips call (714) 955-6900 or email: info@swatup.com.

How do I get updates on the trip?
Your rep will be in charge of giving you updates on the trip. We will also be emailing or posting trip update information. That is why it is very important to put your email address on the application. You should also check back to the website for trip update information.

What's the deal with the wristband?
The wristband is given to you on the bus when you arrive at your destination. It signifies that you are a paid participant on the SWAT trip, and it gives you access to all activities included in your trip. It prevents people who haven't paid from enjoying the activities that you have paid for. Without the wristband, you will not be admitted to any SWAT event.

Will we be able to pick our own roommates?
Yes. You must pick your roommates. Remember pricing is based on max. occupancy for your room or condo. That means if you do not pick who you want to stay with, we will have to put someone in your room to fill that spot, or charge you the upgrade price. You must inform your rep of your choice of roommates, and it is their responsibility to turn in their list to us. We will do our best to accommodate you with your choice of roommates.

Rooms are based on 4 per room occupancy depending on destination/hotel type. Your SWAT Rep will work with you to help accurately complete your group’s room list. Based on availability, individuals may upgrade to less than maximum occupancy for an additional charge in selected destinations (hotels only).

We have a large group going, will our group be together in the hotel?
As much as possible we try to keep groups together. With the size of groups and how the property is laid out, it is not always possible. One thing that helps is getting your applications and final payments in together as soon as possible. If for some reason you aren't all together, you should be fairly close to one another. And how often do you want to stay in your room anyway???

What if I need to cancel?
All deposits are non-refundable and final. Final payments are transferable to another participant that does not already have a deposit down, with an additional $75 transfer fee. No transfer will be accepted within 7 business days of the trip.

Is there any way I can purchase trip insurance?
Yes, ask your SWAT representative for a travel insurance brochure. For more info call Access America at 1-800-284-8300.

Can I pay for the trip late?
Since the trips usually sell out, availability is unlikely. If a spot becomes available, you may pay your full payment after the due date with an additional $30 late fee. If you already have a deposit down, and you do not pay your final payment on time, you will be dropped from the trip and we cannot guarantee a spot for you if you pay late. Paying late makes the chances of rooming with others in your group less likely.

Is there a security deposit?
Yes. Your credit card will be kept on file, in case of damages.

Do we have to bring a credit card?
Yes. You must put down a credit card for your room. If you do not have your own card, you may ask someone else in your room to put down their card for you and sign the deposit slip for you.

What will I need to bring to check in?
Participants need to bring a photo ID to check in, and a credit card.

Can I get a refund if I pay for the trip and then can't make it?
Access America is Americas leading travel provider of travel protection products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world, Access America is there to protect you and your travel investment.

Where is the departure location and when do we find this out?
The departure location is set ten days prior to the trip. If you get 45 persons signed up from your school, you will be picked up in an area close to the school. If you do not fill a bus you may have to drive further than your school to get to your pick-up location. You will receive an email with your bus departure information and your Rep will also have the exact pick up location and time approximately 5-10 days prior to the trip.

What if Students have questions?
After SWAT receives an application with $50 deposit, registrants will receive a Confirmation Package. This mailer is includes information on optional insurance, final payment dates, activities, discounts and much more. If you have any further questions, please contact the SWAT Customer Service Manager at (714) 955-6900.

Where should I rent my equipment?
You MUST rent your equipment at home and bring it on the trip with you. Local rental shops tend to offer a cheaper rate. Remember, every traveler is responsible for their own equipment.

How much luggage can I bring?
Each person can bring either one snowboard or one pair of skis/poles (not both), boots and one medium size suitcase/duffle bag and one small carry-on.

What is the bus ride like?
All of the buses have restrooms, stereos, overhead lights and other conveniences to make your ride more comfortable (most have VCR’s as well). The buses are easy to sleep on or you can bring a book or magazine to read.
