Located 330 miles from Denver, the historic mining town of Telluride, CO is a quaint escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Although secluded, Telluride’s majestic charm and absolutely unreal snow make it one of the best winter getaways during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. As if the epic skiing and snowboarding weren’t enough, several great bars and restaurants in both the city of Telluride and in the resort’s village ensure that there’s always something to do. Ranked the #1 ski resort in the United States in the annual Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Survey in 2013, 2014, and 2015, in addition to being named the #1 small city in America in 2015, it’s no wonder that Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Ralph Lauren, George Strait, among countless other celebrities, have chosen to own vacation homes in Telluride.
